On 12th August 2024, Yogeshwari Mahavidyalya organised a Induction programme for Under Graduate Students of B.Sc, B.C.S & B.C.A. First year Class. The purpose behind to organise this programme was to heartly welcome & give information to students about ‘New Education Policy 2020′ which is tobe lanuched from present year. Also, the objective of this programme was to appeal students to participate in different activities running in College. These acitivities will build strength, confidence and self reliance among the students. Dr Lasonkar of Chemistry Department has given valuable guidance about NEP curriculum, pattern of examination, credit scores. Dr. M V Kanetkar, Principal of our College was the chairperson of this programme. In his prseidential speech, he has given warm welcome to all the students and informed the students about Society’s aim, objective. He has given information about basic facilities available in College premise. All the heads of portfolies and departments addressed about their programme activities which is usefulness for welfare and benefits of students. Col. Rajendra Thorat has told about importance, selection procedure, ranking and acheivement of NCC Course. In the view of social activities, Dr Mahendra Acharya has given guidance about purpose of the NSS Programme, different activities performed, benefits and appeal all the students to participate in NSS Scheme. In extension to these social activities, Dr Rajesh Joshi of Computer Science department told about ‘earn and learn‘ scheme as part of programme “Cyber Shiksha for Cyber Sureksha” which is jointly organised by Yogeshwari Mahavidyalaya and Quick Heal foundation. This programme was anchored by Dr Schin Kalawe. All the staff members and students were attended this programme.
