The department of Microbiology, Red Ribbon Club unit Yogeshwari Mahavidyalaya, Ambajogai in collaboration with District AIDS Control Society organized Speech and Rangoli competition on the occasion of ‘WORLD AIDS Day’ 2021. A Guest lecture of Dr. Charushila Halgarkar (Associate Prof., Dept. of Microbiology, S.R.T. College & Hospital, Ambajogai) was also organized. Dr. Halgar delivered a lecture on the topic HIV: AIDS, Social Stigma, Prevention and Control. Total 27 students participated in Rangoli competition and 10 students participated in Speech competition. Winners were awarded with prizes at the hands of Chief Guest and Principal. On this occasion Principal Dr. R.D. Joshi, Vice- Principal Dr. R.V. Kulkarni, IQAC Coordinator Dr. V.S. Hamde and Dr. Narsinge A.P., Mr. Dhanraj Pawar (HIV Counsilor) & Vishwas Lawand (HIV Counsilor) were present.
