On January 14, 2024, a special lecture by Shri Sushil Kulkarni was organized at Yogeshwari College on the occasion of the 31st Name Extension Day of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. The lecture took place in the scenic surroundings of the Rajarshi Shahu, Mahatma Phule, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Constitution Corner at the Yogeshwari Education Institute.
In his extensive speech, Shri Sushil Kulkarni highlighted Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s contributions to the field of education, his special efforts for the educational development of Marathwada, the background, movement, struggles, and outcomes of the university renaming movement. He urged everyone to draw inspiration from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s work.
The program was inaugurated by Vice-Principal Dr. R.V. Kulkarni. The concluding remarks were given by Principal Dr. M.V. Kanetkar, who provided information about Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s educational and social work and called for the assimilation of Babasaheb’s principles and thoughts.
The program was conducted and concluded with thanks by Prof. Aditya Kadam. On the discussion platform, Junior College Vice-Principal Shri Ajay Pathak and Administrative Officer Shri Ajay Chaudhary were present. A large number of professors and non-teaching staff from the college attended the event.
