         As part of the ‘Cyber Education for Cyber Security’ campaign, jointly organized by Yogeshwari College and Quick Hill Foundation Pune, three students from the Department of Computer Science were honoured with a state-level award by the Hon. Governor of Maharashtra, Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan, in Pune for their remarkable work in raising awareness about cyber security. Kum. Pragati Thawre received the first prize in the category of Best PR Media Director, while Adarsh Dongre and Kumari Shravani Kulkarni received the second prize in the categories of Best President and Best Community Director, respectively. The event was attended by Mrs. Anupama Katkar, Chairperson of Quick Hill Foundation, Shri Prakash Mahanwar, Vice Chancellor of Pune Shlok Ahilya Devi Holkar Solapur University, and DIG Shri Sanjay Shintre.

         For the past four months, these students have been conducting awareness programs on cyber security through various media platforms in the community. The Principal of the Yogeshwari Mahavidyalaya Dr. M. V. Kanetkar, and the teacher coordinator of the campaign, Head of the Computer Science Department, Prof. Dr. R.G. Joshi, were also present at the felicitation ceremony as invited guests along with the students.
