Intellectual Inspiration of NCMIST 2023 Concludes

      A two-day national conference on the topic “Multidisciplinary Innovations in Science and Technology” was successfully organized by the Department of Computer Science and Electronics at Yogeshwari College. The conference took place on January 10th and 11th, 2025. Students, researchers, scientists, and various dignitaries from the education sector were present at this event. The inauguration of the national conference was done by Prof. Mahendra Sirsat, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. B. A. M. University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The program was presided over by Shri Chandrakant Bardapurkar, President of Yogeshwari Education Society. During his address, Prof. Mahendra Sirsat emphasized that students and researchers should contribute to the progress of the nation through quality research.

      Dr. Ramesh Manjha (Head of the Department of Computer Science, Dr. B. A. M. University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar), Dr. Bhimashankar Kodge (Geetam University, Hyderabad), Dr. Bannakeshva Murthy (Govt. College, Bidar), Dr. Prakash Khanale (YCMOU, Nashik), Dr. Ravindra Deshmukh (M.G.M University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar), and Dr. Parag Bhalchandra (S.R.T. University, Nanded) provided detailed guidance on research work in science and technology during the conference.

        At the concluding session, Dr. Kapil Chousalkar, Associate Dean at the University of Adelaide, Australia, was present. He shared his thoughts on global research and India’s contribution to it. On this occasion members of Y. E. Society’s Shri Kamalakar Chausalkar Secretary, Shri Ganpat Vyas Vice President, Shri Bhimashankarji Shete Joint Secretary, Dr. Maruti Kanetkar Principal, Dr. R.V. Kulkarni Vice-Principal, Dr. Rajesh Joshi Head of the Computer Science, Dr. Mahendra Acharya Convenor of NMIST were present. The event was anchored by Prof. Sachin Kalalave and Prof. Santoshkumar Surve and the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Srinivas Ghan, Head of the Electronics Department.

       Staff of the Computer Science Department Dr. Uday Thete, Dr. S.S. Kulkarni, Dr. Vinod Gangne, Prof. Kiran Kulkarni, Prof. Mahadev Gayke, Prof. Manoj Waghmare and Shri Gopal Kulkarni contributed their efforts in the successful planning and execution of the conference.
